About ME

I create art to express my deepest feelings. Painting gives me the opportunity to explore the energy of life and take creative risks. Through my work I seek to generate an authentic connection, inviting the viewer to experience the essence of life and to relate to the most genuine side of who I am. My art is based on sincere expression and its ability to create a bridge between the viewer and myself, offering a moment of healing and a reminder of our shared humanity.

I am a Chilean artist living and working in Barcelona since the end of 2024. I moved from Chile to the UK with my family when I was 11 years old and later earned my Bachelor of Arts in Painting from Winchester School of Art in 1986. During my studies, I was fortunate to receive a scholarship to attend The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I spent six enriching months in 1985.

After 13 years in England, I returned to Chile, where I spent a decade teaching Visual Arts in the International Baccalaureate Program at the International School Nido de Aguilas in Santiago. Last year I decided to begin a new chapter by moving to Barcelona. This move is an opportunity to grow and share my art across Europe while embracing a new lifestyle and the cultural richness of the continent.

Over the years, my work has found homes in private collections in Europe, the US, Latin America, and Australia. A highlight of my career has been to show my work at Art Takes Times Square in New York.
